Should i retake the SAT (I’m hoping to EA to yale and am planning on taking more sub tests in October) or take the ACT( which I have yet to study for)?

Getting into Yale is much more about SAT scores. 2210 is basically the midrange for Yale applicants, so you should be good enough. It might be beneficial, since you’re asian, to get that SAT to a 2300, or get an ACT of 34 or higher, but the effort in attaining those scores should be spent on the essays.
I’d say just continue to work on your ECs and your essays, not on the SAT or ACT, during the summer. 2210 should be fine.
