should i retake the SAT

1st time: 720 R 780 M 730 W 2230 composite
2nd time: 800 R 760 M 750 W 2310 composite

aiming for HYPSM and the such, didn’t study for either of my SAT attempts (ahahah i keep staying up to 2am night before the SAT playing games, probably didn’t boost my score much)

i can’t decide

NOPE. 2310 is great. I wouldnt give it again. btw, whats the S stand for in HYPSM ?

Stanford
And no, you don’t need to retake. You won’t have a better chance with any higher scores. Focus on subject tests, apes, community service, leadership, ect

self-congratulatory post? yep

^ yea honestly, your score is great idk why you feel the need to even ask if people think you should retake it.

You’re just bragging.

Don’t retake it.

You could just make the decision yourself and avoid making a thread like this altogether.

ok i guess i won’t retake it and focus on other stuff instead

i really want to beat my friend though :frowning: oh well

^ Then retake it. If you’re really going to let random anonymous users on an internet forum make your decisions for you, I’m a bit surprised that you even managed a 2310.
