Should I retake?

I’m planning to sign up for the SATs for May - but I can either choose subject tests or the SAT.
This is my first and only score as of now
CR: 760
M: 740
W: 730
T: 2230

Is my score good enough for most colleges (ex. Berkeley) or should I retake?

It’s good enough for any school, including Berkeley. It puts you above the 50th percentile at every school and above the 75th percentile at most schools other than the ~top 20 schools. You’re not a senior though so it doesn’t really matter what you take next because you have time to take both once or twice more each.

Study more and you can get a 2300+, which will ensure your testing as not the reason for denials

Impesssive scores. Dont retake.

Most selective schools dont differentiate on test scores (or GPA or class rank). Once you are in the top 1% they are ingnored and they will look for something else on you app that sets you apart.

Focus your time on your essay, Berkely lists that as most important.

those scores are great; there’s no reason to retake. you should focus on preparing for the subject tests, especially if one is in your intended academic field.

Only retake if you are confident that you can improve your scores. Otherwise, a retake is not necessary.
