Should I retake?

I just took the June Biology M test as a sophomore and received a 710. I was shooting for a 700+, but a 710 just seems…low. Is that an okay score for NYU, UMich, and George Washington University? Those are my top three match schools. Or should I retake it this fall?

And you achieved your goal. Move on. The score is fine for that level of school. Put the time and energy into your application essays.

Don’t retake it, as the material won’t be as fresh in your mind. Work on other aspects of your application.

You are a rising junior, so you do have a choice to make here. If you were a senior, I would say not to retake the test as you have to do your applications. However, you can choose to retake the subject test and still have plenty of time to do your other standardized testing (e.g. SAT I, ACT). It is up to you–if you feel like you can restudy for the test and still have enough time to do summer work/not be stressed at the beginning of the school year, then take the test again. Otherwise, I say you focus on school and try different subject tests in the springtime.

I concur with @skieurope You’re above the 700 mark. Move on.
