Should I rush as a senior?

I am moving to a Tampa for my last year (and maybe one more) and I wanted to make new friends, have fun, and take part in good activities. The problem is I am a senior and I am a pre med major, so I would be taking my hardest classes my last year. Not to mention, it might be embarassing to rush if I am a senior in college with a bunch of freshman.

Should I do it? This will be at USF, and I don’t know about their fraternities but I do know some colleges have frats that make the students study and they actually do better in school than non greek people.

I don’t think joining a fraternity and partying with freshmen is a good prescription for a pre-med senior with only two semesters of undergratuate studies left at USF. You should be disciplined enough by now as a senior to be able to study without a fraternity making you study; if you are going to get into med school, you need to be a self-starter. You can make friends, have fun, and take part in great activities at USF without getting involved in a fraternity this late in your undergraduate studies as a senior.
