Should I Rush?

I’m applying by the December 1 deadline but haven’t sent my transcripts or SAT scores yet. Should I send these with “Rush mailing” which claims to get them in faster? Or should I just send regular? Will I still be considered for a scholarship?

Ha! I almost didn’t check this thread because I assumed it was a spring admit asking about fraternity/sorority issues! (And I don’t know anything about fraternity/sorority issues.)

No, you don’t need to use rush service. Get your official transcripts and scores ordered/in the mail by MONDAY, and then FAX your unofficial transcript and a printout of your scores before to USC December 1st. USC will use the unofficial reports in considering your application and verify when the official reports arrive. If you already have a USConnect account, you can also scan in your unofficial reports and submit them through USConnect.

Be certain your online application is submitted by December 1st.

Good luck!

Thanks! I’m not big on frats so I don’t even know what “rushing” would be in Greek life.

College admission sites have been known to crash the last evening before the deadline. Follow alamemom’s sound advice and complete that application as soon as possible!.
