Should I Send Colleges my AP Test Scores?

<p>I applied to Villanova, and completely forgot about my AP Scores until today. I got a 5 on the APUSH test, and a 4 on the AP English Language and Comp. I didn’t even mention them on my common app which I submitted. Should I send my test scores to Villanova?</p>

<p>No. I’d call them or send them a message with your scores; schools don’t look at official AP score reports for applying students. Right now, they take your word when it comes to AP scores (and they do demonstrate rigor so they’re worth sharing). They hold students accountable by rescinding if they lie about their AP scores.</p>

<p>So don’t blow that money just yet. AP score report is just a one-time payment you’ll make around late April or May, maybe even June.</p>

<p>@dividerofzero‌ 's statement is true for many – but absolutely not for all – universities. Some institutions REQUIRE SAT II results, as a basic element of mandatory application documentation. I’d ensure that Villanova isn’t one of them before following dividerofzero’s recommendation. </p>

<p>@TopTier OP asked about AP scores, not SAT Subject Tests. Unless the college is one of the very few that accepts AP scores in lieu of SAT Subject Test scores, the advice from @dividerofzero is spot on.</p>
