Should I send colleges my updated essay?

This is a really bad mistake I have made to about 100 colleges (yes you read that right) I applied.

So basically my essay is supposed have non English characters behind these brackets.

Should I send all my colleges an updated mail fixing my essay? or should I leave it as it is without bringing much attention?

Leave it. Nothing says “I put no care into my essays” like “Please replace this essay with the one I submitted.”

I think that it is fine the way that you already sent it in. I also would just not worry about it.
