I will be applying soon to UVa, UNC, Duke, Penn State (saftey), and UPenn (Reach)

I got a 33 composite on ACT with writing, and for my SATs i got a 1960, then 1990 with a 2070 Superscore and 1420 combined Math/Reading. Math1 i got a 800 and Math 2 subject test i got a 790. So should i just send in my ACT and subject tests, or my SATs also?

On a separate (but a related) matter, Duke certainly appears to be a “considerable reach” for you. Based on the data you’ve provided, you’re comfortably in the middle (50 percentile) range of applicants’ standardized test scores; however, Duke only admitted 10.8 percent of those who applied last year. There are a LOT (8,000+) of exceptionally qualified candidates in the top quartile, especially when one understands that only about 3,500 were granted admission.
