Should I send my new SAT scores to my safeties?

<p>Would there be any point? I sent my 2260 SAT score to a couple of safeties using the free score reports, but I plan on retaking in October for a 2350+. Should I just send my October score to my reaches? I know this question seems stupid, but money is a huge concern for me. My safeties are UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbra, and UC San Diego. Thanks. :)</p>

<p>not necessary…2260 is way above average for any of those schools…</p>

<p>Some schools have scholarships whose amounts are determined based on your SAT scores. I don’t think that’s true of the UC schools, but you may as well check to be sure. (It would be bad to miss out on a scholarship for 2300+ students if they do indeed have such a thing.)</p>

<p>Absolutely send them. A 2300+ with good gpa should certainly make you highly competitive for Regent’s scholars at the mid-tier UCs, and even SD. (And, yes a 2260 will make you competitive as well, but higher is always better.)</p>
