Should I send my second ACT score or not?!

Hello,

I am sending my scores to villanova for RD and have a dilemma.

the first time i took it in June I got a composite of 28

english-32
math-28
reading-28
Science-23

the second time I took it in October I got a composite of 27

english-30
math-33
reading-21
science-25

Should I send the October one? I’m worried because the reading score is so horrible. The super score of both is 29.5.

What should I do?

thanks

Most schools don’t superscore the ACT. What is your intended major?

Business

even though they dont superscore, would the 21 for reading look bad?

The 21 would look bad, though not as much for someone who was going to major in something like math. They might just chock it up to a bad day in reading.

As far as I know Villanova does not superscore. Since your composite score is lower there should be no point in sending it - they should only look at the test with the highest composite score and ignore the rest. However I might be wrong - the best way is to contact the admissions office and ask specifically if they give any consideration to tests other than the one with the highest composite.
