Should I send only my ACT?

<p>Hi everyone. I am currently a senior and am applying to some highly selective schools. (Cornell, Vanderbilt, Lehigh, Bucknell) Currently I am ranked 11th in my class with a 4.0 weighted gpa. I participate in numerous extracurriculars and have hundreds of hours of community service. However, I have a question.</p>

<p>I am not sure if I should only send in my ACT or send in my SAT as well. Here’s the breakdown. SAT: First Attempt- Composite 1900 Math 620 Reading 630 Writing 650
Second Attempt - Comp 1880 Math 650 Reading 620 Writing 610</p>

<p>I know that a 30 on the ACT converts into around a 2000. This is much better than my SAT score. Am I better off only sending in my ACT so the colleges do not see the lesser SAT scores, or should I send in everything.</p>

<p>Actually an ACT of 30 is approximately a 2070 on an SAT scale. I would send ACT and not send SAT. The ACT is a solid score. Best of luck!</p>

<p>Thanks everyone. What about the colleges that require my subject test scores? Should I do score choice and block them from seeing my SAT reasoning scores? Thank you again.</p>

<p>If the school does not require all scores then use score choice.</p>

<p>Am I the only one who follows the whole idea of just submitting it all? It won’t work against you, either way, and who knows, what if one of the break downs is better than another? My SAT is vastly superior to my ACT by the equivalent of around 120 or so, but my writing and my critical reading are better on ACT. In fact, if you combine my ACT and SAT for critical reading and math, respectively, I have a 1590-1600-ish :-D</p>
