Yesterday, I was selected to be and got to be a judge at the largest hackathon (similar to a coding competition) in my city. I’m not sure if I should send it to them because its quite late but then it demonstrates how I am active and am good at what my passion is (programming). Sorry if my question was incoherent, but should I send the AOs a message about this?
Probably not necessary, assuming you’ve made your CS interest clear to them already and have some supporting activities and/or achievements. But a brief update email to them wouldn’t hurt, either. Entirely up to you, but unlikely to tip your chances one way or the other.
if you don’t feel that good about your chances of getting in, you could send them it. it’s proof of your passion and either way it doesn’t kill your chances of getting in - it could actually help boost your chances.
