Should I still report a low subject test score?

I took the SAT Chemistry tests and did very poorly. Let’s just say I got in the 500s range, and to make matters worse, I took it twice and did worse the second time. My school’s science department isn’t very strong and we don’t have any honors or AP classes in science, and so very few kids in my school even make a 600 on the science subject tests.

Question is: Most of the schools I’m applying to do not require the subject tests, although a few do. Should I bother reporting this score?

Well, I’m applying to schools that do require them and look very highly upon them, and am also in the 500’s range.

I’m confident that these schools, especially yours that don’t require subject tests, can overlook one low test score if, elsewhere, like in your coursework or recommendations, you/your teachers demonstrate your strength in the subject.

Don’t report it. Good luck to you

okay thanks
