Hi all, I have a 36 composite ACT but not a perfect for each section.
36 ENG
35 MATH
35 Reading
36 Science
I have taken the SAT I two times before, I scored really poorly the first time, and I bombed writing the second time and landed just below 2250. I can almost certainly land in the 2300’s, 2350+ maybe, if I take it again.
Furthermore, I am currently enrolled in many high level math classes such as Real Analysis I , Differential Equations I, and Introductions to Functions on a Complex Variable, and have an 800 on the SAT Math 2. I also took the AMC for the first time this year and scored a 7 on the AIME, so I hope that will carry my math.
I have nothing to carry my reading score.
I am wondering if I should take the SAT to get a 2350+ or an ACT to get perfect subscores all around.
Additional info: The Nearest SAT testing center is at least 35 minutes away. 1 hour under current traffic according to google maps. I have also never seriously studied for the ACT nor SAT. I am also hoping to apply to some top tier schools this summer, so I would like to have around average or above average national testing scores for some of these schools.
