Should I submit an arts supplement? (Columbia and UChicago)

I’ve taken studio art for 11 years and self-learned digital art; Some of my works have been featured in national and international exhibitions.

I have a portfolio ready; was wondering if it would improve my chances? I’m applying ED Columbia and EA UChicago. International student crack of thunder

I don’t think it will hurt. It may not help, but I don’t see a downside. You are talented and the fact that you’ve “been featured in national and international exhibitions” will be a benefit. If you are using it as an EC, if you talk about art in your application, I think including it would make sense. One mom’s opinion. Good luck.

Contact school’s admissions departments and ask 1) if they accept art supplements and 2) if so, what is the best way to send them. Send in a few outstanding samples – quality over quantity. Also it may sound obvious but edit what you send (in today’s environment I would not send any artwork that includes guns, knives, blood etc.)
