Should I submit my 33 composite, 34 superscore to Stanford, or go test-optional?

I have a pretty sound application in all the other areas. I started and sold a business for a decent amount of money, have other great ec’s and all As, with half of my classes being APs. My application is complete but curious if going test optional is the right decision. Thanks

First, they don’t superscore the ACT. Only the SAT. They review the subscores.

  • For the ACT, we will review all subscores and focus on the highest Composite from all sittings.

Are yours balanced - all 32-34?

72% submit so it likely helps.

Their composite per CDS is 33-35.

So if balanced I’d submit.

Your English is low.

The reality is - 96% + will get rejected.

If you submit and don’t get in, you’ll never know why. If you don’t submit and don’t get in, you’ll never know why.

It doesn’t seem like your scores add value but it seems like they like scores.

Only you can decide.
