Should I submit my IELTS score of 6.5 to American universities? Keep in mind that I have a predicted 38/45, solid extracurricular activities, and good essays. I don’t have time to retake it. I want to submit it to Santa Clara University, and I applied for ED2.
Looks like you would be fine for Santa Clara; they require a minimum of 6.5 for Undergraduate.
If the minimum for the university is 6.5, submit. English proficiency exams are like driving exams; you get no brownie points for exceeding the minimum.
