Should I submit my apps now or wait to be elected?

Hi!

I just ran for president of a club today and the results will probably come in next week. I really need to submit my apps ASAP, because I know the sooner the better and many people have already submitted it.

What i’m thinking of doing ( for the common app/others) is to put down that I’m running for president during 12th grade…should I do that?

It’s very likely that I’ll get voted, as of now i’m the only one running, but I don’t want to put down that I am and then not get selected and have submitted my app.

Thank you for any help.

Wait until next week.

It’s only September. Why do you have to submit apps “ASAP”?

Thank you both for the reply. I’m applying early action, and the first one is due 10/15 but they recommend before 10/03 for more scholarships.

Would it be a good idea if I HAVE to submit it, to like I said, put that I’m running for president, and then if I get elected…I would notify them somehow?

No, just email or call admissions with the update if you’re elected.

Will you get the results next Monday or Tuesday? If you got the results on those days and then submitted your application, you would still turn it in before October 3rd ;D

I have no clue…if it was like that, it’d be great! Hopefully  thanks for the input.
