So everyone knows that UCSD raised their GPA of TAG to 3.5 which makes it very hard for many students to TAG. I’m in a big dilemma on which school to TAG with, UCR or UCSD. My current GPA is a 3.6 and I’m taking a 16 unit course load. Although the classes aren’t very hard, I’m like 70 percent sure I’ll stay above the 3.5 threshold. But in the back of my mind, I’m thinking that something might happen and I would fall below a 3.5 and that would jeopardize my TAG with UCSD. So I was thinking would I be better off TAG’ing with UCR knowing that I will have a 3.0 GPA or should I TAG with UCSD. I know UCR will be flooded with TAG applications because many people won’t be eligible for the 3.5 GPA requirement, so should i TAG with them?. what should I do, any tips or comment would help. Feel free to comment.

You’ll get into UCR without TAG so I say go with UCSD!

^i cosign that.

Ucsd for sure!

UCSD. Stay positive! I’m sure you’ll work hard to keep your GPA up especially if you want to go to UCSD.
