Should I take 2nd semester java course in local CC to self-study APCS?

<p>Hi, I am currently taking a online CCSF course on Intro to Java Programming and it’s almost the end of the semester. I’m taking the course to self-study for the AP Computer Science A exam. It’s a really easy online course for me but there are a lot of things that the course hasn’t covered for the APCS exam, especially object-oriented programming. </p>

<p>What should I do? Should I just read the Barron’s book or should I take a second semester online CCSF course on Java ? If I do I get college credit (3 units) for being a concurrently enrolled high school student and I plan to go to a UC. I also heard that AP Computer Science A now has some concepts from AB, so would that be a good idea? Thanks!</p>
