So I’m a Statistics major at Virginia Tech. I’m a sophomore in terms of credits, but I still consider myself a freshman. But anyways, I’m interested in going into the Biostatistics field. I’m taking my first biology classes next semester and usually you add the lab along with it. However, stats majors here are not required to take the lab for their degree, so should I bother taking the lab along with the class or not? Just wondering how beneficial you guys think it would be, and if not taking it would hurt my chances of getting into one of my top Grad programs (University of Washington, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, VCU).
Thanks!
