<p>Hi all…I really really want to give acting a try in NYC…I am 18 right now just graduated and going to Duke next year…I was thinking of deferring for a year to try acting</p>
<p>I have gone to prep school my whole life…and my parents are very strict about academics…has anyone taken a gap year, can you tell me the pros and cons of this? what do you guys think, for me…should I take a gap year to try acting? </p>
<p>I have lots of friends in NYC so i think it will be fun…and I just don’t know if I am ready for college yet…but if I go next year as a freshmen I will be a year older than everyone else and I feel like that’s awkward as a girl…</p>
