Should I take a Lit/History SAT II subject test?

Hi, I’m a high school junior in a public high school and thinking of applying to UPenn, UChicago, Northwestern, MIT, Stanford, and other schools in the same level.

GPA: 5.00/5.33 (weighted)
SAT/ACT: Have yet taken them yet, but expecting scores in the 2200’s and 2300’s range
SAT Subject Test: Physics: 760, Chinese: 800 (native speaker), Math II - receiving score tommorow, expecting and 800. I am going to take the Biology M and Chemistry in January.

I’m a Co-Head of the school Jets/Wyse team (a science team), member of the science olympiad team and math team (I have received 2nd place in state and nationals in one of my science olympiad events), sometimes astronomy club, and martial arts club.

Should I take a English/History SAT Subject test?

Thank you!

looking at your GPA and your other scores, the english and history SAT subjects tests will not matter. You have enough tests. top tier schools like harvard look at three tests. and most want 2 to 3. by the looks of it, you are going to have 5 tests. That is plenty.

Honesty, your stats are amazing, so I wouldn’t even worry about it. If you’re majoring in the sciences (which i’ll assume you are based on the info you gave) you are well in range of the ivy leagues. Save your money and good luck.

No, unless you can get a 800 without studying.
