Should I take AP Biology or Anatomy and Physiology of Human Systems?

I will take Biology PreAP in 9th grade, so then I would be free to take Anatomy and Physiology of Human Systems in 12th grade, which would help me graduate from high school with a distinguished program, and if I’m in the top 10% of my class I automatically gain admission to any Texas public university. Or should I take AP Biology in 11th grade after taking Biology PreAP in 9th grade and not take Anatomy and Physiology of human systems? I don’t know which one is better for me considering I wanna pursue a career in medicine.

Option A:
9th Grade - Biology PreAP
10th Grade - Chemistry PreAP
11th Grade - AP Physics 1
12th Grade - Anatomy & Physiology of Human Systems

Option B:
9th Grade - Biology PreAP
10th Grade - Chemistry PreAP
11th Grade - AP Biology
12th Grade - AP Physics 1

Believe it or not, medical schools already teach both anatomy and physiology. And, they probably do it better than the HS does.

So should I take AP Bio or Anatomy? Which one shows more rigor and teaches better?

I obviously don’t get out much, but I’ve never heard of “Bio PreAP”.

What in the world is that? Kids need a specific course to prepare them for AP Bio?

In my school PreAP is like an Honors class

AP Biology, on paper, sounds more rigorous and prestigious, but the program makes Anatomy and Physiology sound better. In the end, it’s your choice, but I’d probably go with AP Bio. Most med schools won’t accept AP Bio as credit, so you’d have to retake it.
