I’m going into my senior year and I passed Math Analysis with a second semester A with a 92.9% and my first semester with a B 85.4%. However, I don’t know if I should take both classes or just one. I am also not taking any other AP class besides math. Should I take both or 1?
Taking both at the same time would be fine as long as you have taken enough courses in the other subject areas so that taking AP Statistics isn’t squeezing out something else that is important. Have you taken some AP classes in other subjects?
Yes I’ve taken AP Chemistry and I got a B the first semester and a B+ this semester. I also took AP Language, however English is not my best subject which I got a C- the first semester and the second semester a B-
Sounds OK then as long as you will have the basic requirements met, like having taken a Biology and Physics as well as your Chemistry, several years of foreign language, and history, art, etc. My son took AP Economics and AP Government senior year and found them enjoyable and not too time-consuming. You could ask around whether they are difficult at your school. I hope your school has peer tutoring, so if you start to have any trouble you can get help right away. One of my sons did the practice lessons in the Princeton Review AP Calculus book the summer before he started the course and said it really helped him to do well.
Yes I’ve taken three years of Spanish and I’ve excel on it. I have all of my requirement, but I did not take Physics because my AP Chemistry teacher recommend to not take it. I’m leaning towards AP Stats because the teacher I had for Math Analysis is teaching it, but the AP Calc teacher I didn’t really liked how she taught when I had her the beginning of my junior year which I transferred out of her class. However, I want to major in becoming a teacher from the grades between kindergarten to 8th grade, but it that plan doesn’t work, I plan on being a math teacher for high school.
I think most people would tell you to take Physics. Why did the AP Chemistry teacher steer you away from it?
