Currently I’m a junior. I just took the SAT and I am retaking the ACT in April. Some of the schools (like NYU) require 2 subject tests. Is it too late for me to take them? I’m thinking about taking mBiology and Lit. Is there still time next year to retake? Thanks.

Go to the College Board website at collegeboard.com and, under tests, you will see a list of all of the testing dates, deadlines, etc. Subject tests are an hour each and you can take up to three at one sitting. The next dates on which they are given are May 5th and June 2nd. The registration deadlines and fess are all noted on the College Board website and you can register and pay online. It’s very simple. You will also see the dates the tests are given next fall. Depending on when your applications are due, taking them then might work fine for you as well. Most juniors try to take them at the end of junior year because they have just finished the corresponding course and the material is still fresh.
