Should I take math now? undeclared major

<p>Hey so I’m really not a math person, and as of now, I’m an undeclared major in sixth college. My AP Calc A/B 5 score exempts me from math 20A/10A, so my question is, in order to fulfill the 1 GE course in Structured reasoning, do I need to take math? or should I choose to just take philosophy, though I know that math is required for most majors. </p>

<p>Also, when we fulfill GE requirements, do the “courses” mean, for example, just math 20A? Or does one “course” mean the entire series of Math 20A, 20B, and 20C? Sorry that was worded kind of strangely</p>

<p>a course is a class. not a series. (because, technically, the 20 series goes all the way to 20F)</p>
