Should I Take Really Hard Classes Senior Year?

I’ve heard of ‘senioritis’, and I really don’t know if that is going to happen to me. If I’m going to burned out, it probably won’t be because of being already accepted but simple from the work. This is what I plan to take senior year:

AP English
AP Calculus BC (took AB junior year)
AP Statistics
AP Biology
Organic Chemistry

Does this seem something worth doing senior year? Is it even worth it going hardcore senior year? Junior year was already terrible for me (kept up straight A’s, but boy, AP Physics and Calculus were terrible because of awful teachers), so would this be a wise decision to make? I know I’ll have good teachers next year though

Seems a bit science-heavy, which – if there are labs involved (and I’d imagine there are) – might be a pretty time and work-intensive load. Is there a social science or foreign language class you can take instead?

Drop AP stats and organic chemistry. You already have a math and a science.
Keep AP calculus, AP English, AP bio.
Add a history or social science and a 4th year of foreign language (unless you already took it, in which case you can take a ‘fun’ class from Culinary Arts to Current Events to Choir).

I think it is a bit much. You should probability balance it out with some easier courses as well.

I also think that it is a bit much. Remember that in senior year you will have what is essentially the equivalent of an additional AP class: Researching universities, visiting universities, applying to universities, getting offers back, visiting universities again, and deciding which one to go to (which might mean more research and more visits). This is a very time consuming and emotional task.
