Should I take that fourth science?

I know, I know, it looks better to have four sciences. I’ve signed up to take Anatomy 1 at my local college (my hs allows us to dual enroll) just so I can have another science. I’m not sure about other schools, but at my school you are required to take three sciences, and if you take another it counts as an elective. The class is three mornings weekly for a semester and I’m not sure if it’s worth taking it. My major involves no science at all and I am also the editor in chief of my school’s yearbook, which means I’m going to be veryyy busy as is. Is having a fourth science really that important? I don’t want the extra work if it isn’t worth it. My college choice (Auburn) requires only three sciences. Should I drop it while I have time to?

Yes, I would suggest it.

Correction: Auburn requires only two sciences, not three

if you’re dedicated to it, go ahead and take it. if not, and it’s not really related to your major, there is no harm in taking something else less strenuous. I understand the struggle of being EIC of the yearbook and the time allotment that must be made as I was in the same position. As long as you have taken the core sciences: chem, bio, and physics then you should be fine. will this enrollment cause transportation issues? will it be close enough for you to get back and forth? things to consider. all in all, if you can handle it take the fourth science, otherwise pick something else.
