should i take the act?

im looking into going to college, the catalog from my local community college says anyone over the age of 25 doesnt need to take it for admittance, but im also thinking of applying to some universities, i got my ged about 2 years ago, so do i need to take the act if i plan on applying to a university or do they have the age rule like this community college?

thanks for the help

anybody???

7+ years of adult experience should count for something at college application time. It’s a fairly inexpensive way to evaluate yourself and see where you stand in relationship to other applicants. If you don’t like the scores, I don’t think you have to send them. I went to college in another country and took the GRE when I came back just to see where I stood after 7 years.
