Hi, I’m a senior this year and I have taken about 10 AP’s so far. This year I’m taking 2 exams, both of which are subjects offered at my school.
Since I think I’m doing pretty well in preparing for these subjects, I’m considering taking another exam on a course not offered at my school. Do you think this is a good idea or should I just let myself focus on the two exams that I’m planning to take already? As for the additional subject, I’m thinking of either environmental science or psychology. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

If you definitely must, go with Psychology. Reading the Barron’s book and doing practice questions and essays should really help prepare you for the exam.

But normally this far into the year, it wouldn’t be too wise to pick it up unless you’ve been preparing for it since earlier in the year.

You should definitely be fine
APES and AP Psych are some of the easiest AP’s. If you can honestly handle learning all of that in two months for the exam, go for it! Some people start studying with review books for these exams the week before and get 4’s and 5’s. You should be fine if you try hard enough :D

Since you’re a senior, you know, or soon will, the college you are attending next year. Check their AP credit policies. Some schools do not give credit for APES or Psych, If your college does not grant credit, no point in taking the exam.
