Should I take the Biology test?

I’m currently a senior and have already taken 3 subject tests. 2 colleges on my list accept January test scores. So, I am thinking about taking one of the Biology tests. However, I am still currently in AP Biology and am not sure if i would be able to well on the test (700+), but wouldn’t mind some hard self-studying for the 26 days after 1/1.

My question is: Would I be able to take the test (and not list my 2 schools as two of the 4 free places to send my score) and rush report the Bio score after I see what it is? Basically, can I see my score, rush report them (if they’re good), and still get it to Duke/Johns Hopkins in time for them to evaluate it?

duke will take january scores. not sure about jh. i am in ap bio right now and read the entire princeton review book the week before the test (december). i did fine. go for it.

thanks for the reply zerocool.

anybody else got an opinion?

you can read sparknotes , its free online and pretty good , there are a couple of mistakes which I hope you can recognize since u are taking ap biology. I havenot studied biology for a year and I didn’t remember a thing when I started studying sparknotes. I read it a couple of hours for one and a half week and got 750. not much but not that bad either.

its a game of chance…but i wonder…have u already taken a science subject test ? if so then theres no need to take bio test. otherwise, do as every1 said. read PR book, rock the test and send score.

i am currently a senior. i took HONORS bio in my sophomore year…no bio junior year and have ap bio NEXT semester…i took just one practice test and got a 750 on the actual test…having any ap bio is not necessary
