Should I take the December SAT II tests as a high school senior?

I am a high school senior and I’m confident in my “college profile” and I’m planning to turn in all my applications within the next two weeks. I took the SAT in the October of my junior year and got 2080, and I didn’t want to pay for another try when I had other things to worry about financially. Now that it’s my senior year, I’m wondering if I should take the Math II and Chemistry test.

I’m applying to different majors to different colleges (mostly because I have a variety of interests and passions), with my top 4 colleges being Biomed Engineering for UCSD and Cal Poly SLO, Pre-Business Econ UCLA, and either Biochem or Undeclared for UCB (with an intent to go into Haas for Business Admin). Is it worth it to take the last-minute subject tests? And if I do take them, do I have to send the scores in and rush them? If I get bad scores, will I be looked upon badly?

My academic profile overall is decent; I am ranked 5th in my class and have a 4.6 cumulative GPA with, as stated above, a 2080 SAT. I have 300+ hours of volunteer service under my belt along with a lot of leadership positions in my graduating class and clubs as well as varsity sports. I’m just worried that taking these tests will hurt and not help me.

I really need to know now because the registration deadline for the December tests is the 5th. Thank you!

If you’re applying as a engineering major Math II is definitely needed at most competitive colleges. December is the last month to take SAT tests and send them in for UCs.

I’m taking Math2, US History, and Lit.
