poor SAT M+V:1040
GPA3.8,good EC,recomm,portfolio
i wanna go to a design/art school…should i take the SAT again?</p>

<p>If you took the SAT without preparing or taking a few practice exams beforehand, I would reccomend buying a prep book, working through it, and taking the SAT again.</p>

<p>Check with the art/design schools you are applying to. Sometimes they will tell you how the SAT is weighted, and what the average scores of their incoming freshmen are.
Even if the deadlines are past the date you plan to re-take the SAT, you can probably still submit the SAT scores after you’ve applied and sent your previous scores.</p>
