I am currently in my second semester.
Last semester I took 13 units and got a 4.0 including an A in his class.
Would it be better to try a different professor or does it not matter?
Thank you, I am a political science major hoping to get into UCLA or UCB.
Right now I go to cc.

If you plan to transfer after next year, then you’ll be writing applications in the fall. You need professors who know you well to write good recommendations. Taking someone twice or more is the best way to develop that kind of relationship.

Actually, you don’t need recommendations for any UC’s. It won’t help you in your application, but if you enjoy the professor’s teaching, then taking another class with him might be fun.
