Should I take the SAT and ACT?

I am signed up for the SAT for May 2nd. I was wondering if I should sign up for the June ACT too or should I just to take the SAT. I’m not planning on applying to any prestigious or private schools if that’s a factor.

Take both. Students often perform better on one than the other. And a higher score might result in some merit aid, depending on where you are applying. BTW, congratulations on the grades that you have been getting. Consider looking beyond Florida. With your moniker, I’d suggest you look at Sewanee. Look at some of their “My Sewanee Story” videos on Youtube.
