Should I take the SAT in March or in the Fall

So right now I’m a junior, and I’ve already taken the Math II subject test (twice), Chem SAT, and the big kahuna (scored a 2220). Right now I’m debating whether or not I should take the SAT again in March as I haven’t done any SAT related stuff since early December. I can’t take it in May because of APs, and I can’t take it in June because I’m taking one or two subject tests then. So, is it better to take it now, or should I take it fall Senior year?

Thanks

That’s up to you mate. Personally I doubt it will take too long for you to get back into the groove for SAT before the March test since you have already taken it once before. Plus I am sure it will be a relief to get it over and done with early

All I can suggest is that you ensure you are fully prepared before you take the test. Don’t half arse your preparations and screw up the test … Take it in fall senior year if you feel you will have more time then

There are always several seniors taking the October SAT for their final shot at raising their scores. It’s last minute and it works for some, but obviously not all. The beginning of senior year is stressful with college applications but if your sept and oct are fairly free, and you feel busy now because its junior year then go for it.

Like Alcaraz said, it’s better to get it done early but it depends on your own circumstances.
