I got a 1580 on my very first practice test. I felt the time limites were much better and I could focus more on learning the material instead of relying on test taking skills like the ACT. The math section was harder but I feel I can make up for it with CR and W scores. Currently I have a 600 in the CR and ~500 in the W. Would it be a stretch to go from 1580 to 2000 by the October date? Or should I stick with the ACT and try for my goal of a 30?

A score improvement of 400 points plus is very difficult but since we have about a hundred days left to study, I’m sure we can all pull it off. Don’t slack off and just solve problems all day long. Whether it’s you’re eating dinner or on a bus, look at some of your flashcards. I’ve been going through all the CB practice SAT’s and I’ve highlighted all vocab words that I did not know. I then made flashcards on [STUDYBLUE | Make online flashcards & notes. I think the ACT is generally better for those who are fast test takers but it’s all about your preference. Only you know your weaknesses and strengths. Best of luck.

I made a 2030 from a 1620 between March and June, but I had to pretty much give up sports, video games and a social life. You have to be dedicated and focus on your goal.
