I’m a junior and I just got back my SAT scores from March (the “new” SAT"), I got a 1410.
Reading:740
Math:670
This was the first time I took the SATs and I’m pretty happy with the scores. My top school is Macalester at the moment, I’m also applying to Smith, UVM, Union, American, and Middlebury as a my reach school, and probably a few others I’m not sure. My mom said I should take them again because people always improve the second time they take them and I didn’t prepare very much for the March SATs. I’m just wondering if I have to take them again because I really don’t want to and I’m already taking the ACTs in june.
Are these SATs good enough for my schools (I know probably not for Middlebury but that’s ok)?
I’m also valedictorian in a medium sized public school and decent ECs and a part-time job.
You can decide after getting your ACT scores. Pick one, ACT or SAT, study it and take one more time in the fall.
