Should I take the US History test?

I signed up for USH, Spanish, and Literature. I’m pretty confident I’ll do well on the last two but I’m not sure about US History. I’m getting anywhere from 650 to 750 on the Sparknotes practice tests. Would it hurt me in admissions if I had high scores on two subject tests and a mediocre score (by this forum’s standards at least) on the other? I’m not planning on applying to any schools that require three, just two.

edit:
Also, would I be able to submit two scores but not all three to colleges?

If you think you can get in the upper 700s, I think you should go for it; it is by no means a “mediocre” score.

Then again, are you sure you can get a higher score in Spanish and Literature compared to US History? If so, I don’t think it would be a problem to just drop US History, since you’re only applying to schools that require two.

Just my 2 cents; wait for others to chip in before you make your decision.

Have you read any of the multiple other threads on this forum saying how relatively difficult the Sparknotes tests are?

If you are getting 650-750 on the Sparknotes tests, you have very, very good chances of getting 750+ on the real thing.

My Sparknotes test scores have all gone from low 600s to low 700s over time… on the few released College Board tests that I’ve done, my scores have all been in the mid- to high-700s.
