Should I take USH instead of World History?

My school doesn’t provide USH class (yes, I am not in US) but World History so I consider to give up USH SATII / AP but World history SATII / AP.
However, I just found one reply from someone in this forum that some colleges doesn’t accept World History like Princeton.(???) I don’t know what that means… I looked through admission website but I couldn’t find any indication on this.

Net, is it okay to take World History? OR should I have to self-study USH? (if so, why?) If I don’t take USH, any handicap or problem to apply IVYs or UCs?

Great thanks in advance for your advice… HELP!!!

princeton doesn’t accept world history? weird.

well US history is much easier to self-study IMO. However, if your dream school is princeton, then I guess you have no choice here!

I think you’re referring to some rising senior’s conflict. Since the World History test is offered in December, they won’t be able to report it for early decision. Other from that, it’s perfectly fine to take World History for any university.

Um, im no expert but i read that many ivies do not accept the world history ap for placement. You can check collegeboard which will refer you to the schools website page concerning the issue. I dont know about the sat 2. However, they would probably notice that if its the only possible AP you could take you had no choice and you took the hardest curriculum possible.

Thanks for the kind replies to all.
