I was thinking about transferring to or PGing at (if I unfortunately get rejected by all my desired colleges) a HADES school. I’ve already established a multitude of leadership positions in school activities, but I’m not pleased by the academics at my school… Would it be a good idea to transfer out; I’m currently a sophomore. The problems I would have with transferring would be trying to establish my niche in an environment where everyone has already firmly established theirs, and trying to adjust to a new system and society… any thoughts?

I already go to a private school, but it’s nothing spectacular.

It’s a little early to be thinking about PGing. Why don’t you just apply to HADES schools this year? All of the schools’ deadlines are in under a month so I’m not sure you’d be able to take the SSAT in time, but if you took the PSAT, most schools will accept that in place of the SSAT.

I think their websites say they accept the SSAT until February. The SSAT isn’t hard for me, I just need to cram more vocab words. I think when I took the lower level I got like a 98%…
Can you guys provide me with reasons why I should transfer and leave behind what I’ve established? That’s the ONLY thing that’s keeping me back at this point.
