I am currently an incoming sophomore physics major pre-med at Fordham College at Rose Hill who has been accepted to Boston College’s College of Arts and Sciences for the Fall 2014 semester, with a very competitive scholarship.

The friends I have made at Fordham this past year are more like a repetition of my friends from High School, a group that I would really like to branch away from. I also attended Fordham with my best friend from High School (not purposefully) and we study the same major. We also made the same group of friends and I just feel a little trapped.

I also grew up in a small town on Long Island, and have been to NYC many times so this year has not been that radically eye opening to go to a school in the city.

Overall, I feel like I’m just looking for more individuality out of my undergraduate experience, and a change in scenery, but am getting cold feet about transferring and starting over…

What does anyone here think? I must place my deposit to BC by the 5th of June (this thursday) so I would really appreciate some speedy replies. Thanks!
