Should I turn in my Steinhardt Audition Video even though it's late?

I was completely stressing about University of California applications all week long and completely forgot about turning in my Musical Theatre audition video to Steinhardt. I know I made a huge mistake, so my question is, is it worth turning in, or will the fact that I turned it in late make them completely eliminate me? Also, should I turn in my video by mail or online? If I turn it in online, should I mention something about it being late or just send it in?

Hi JenniferDances,
I’m a current freshman at the program, and while I don’t know the specifics about deadlines, I would suggest calling whoever the auditions contact is (I think it might be John Simpkins but I’m not sure- look on the website) and talk to them about it. All of the people here are very nice and encouraging, and while I can’t guarantee that they’ll extend the deadline for you, I’m sure they’d be happy to work with you on something!

Best of Luck!

KSwag10, What do you think of the program?

theatremomma, kswag has a thread on this Steinhardt forum where she is answering questions. you should look there and then see if you have any questions for her.
