Should I update the schools with additional info?

Hey! I’ve submmited by apps!! All the schools on gateway have an additional info scetion, however SAO does not. Should I update the schools?
Also, I recently (today) discovered that I was selected to represent my country in the Debate World Championiship, should I email this extra info to schools that I have sent the app with additional info or it sounds pretentious? Since I mrntioned debate and Model UN?

I think you should email them the extra information and ask them to add it to you application file.

They can add additional information. I emailed them and they added it to my file.
