Should I use "My Sister's Keeper?"

<p>So, for one of College Park’s essay, you have to choose a book that you want to share with the school and why. I was wondering if “My Sister’s Keeper” by Jodi Picoult was okay. Should I choose a more academically related novel (classics)?</p>

<p>Well, I love the book and think Picoult is an excellent writer.</p>

<p>It doesn’t have to be a classic novel to be a bit more academic/intellectual. I would say that Jodi Picoult is lightweight - or “middlebrow” at best. How about Roth or Bellow - even Dave Eggers or Jay McInerny?</p>
