Im visiting GW tmmrw and I’m hearing mixed things on if it’s worth the extra time to visit the mount vernon campus. So is it worth the extra time to visit the Mount Vernon campus?
If you’re planning on being a freshman at GW it’d be worth your time to check-out the Vern as it’s quite possible that it’ll be your home freshman year. There isn’t a whole lot to see compared to Foggy, but it’s still a place that you’d spend some (if not a lot) of your time.
I don’t know if you’ve already checked out the campus (since you said you’re touring today) but check it out if you see this in time!
If you have the time, visit. That way you’ll have the whole picture of GW. There is a very good chance that you will either be living there, taking a class there, or playing a sport there at some point during your time at GW. We did not visit it with our son when deciding to go there, but he did have classes there and played on the GW club soccer team which practices there. He also used the outdoor pool there in the summers when he had a summer campus job.
