Should I write a thank you to the appeals board?

<p>As a transfer, UCSB just accepted my appeal today. I accepted it right away. (I’ll post the letter if anyone wants to see it.)</p>

<p>Anyhow, should I write a thank you note or letter or something? I have always done this and didn’t know if it was acceptable in this situation or not. </p>
