Should I mention that my inner city public school has kids going to Ivy Leagues every year?

No. I didn’t know Spokane had an “inner city” ;).

Your high school’s profile, a document that gets sent with every application, will list colleges where students have gone/been admitted. There is no reason for you to mention it.

Thanks. And I don’t think we do but thAts what my coaches and teachers say since my school is pretty much downtown

LOL: your coaches?teachers are mistaken. By “inner city” I believe we are all talking about urban schools with limited resources. The biggest factors for this will be found in your HS profile. Two specific stats: percentage of kids eligible for free/reduced lunch (Federally mandated stat which measures the relative poverty rate in your area) and percentage of kids who go to 4 year colleges.

These two say a lot. I know schools where the numbers for this is 95% and 5%. Those are “inner city” schools.
